We’ve all heard the saying, whether it has been said to us, or reassuringly said to someone we know. When Sue received her diagnosis, that was her response. And so, Big Girl Pants was born.
The phrase stuck amongst her nearest and dearest and served as a reminded to us all that even when life becomes difficult, we can decide how we respond. Big Girl Pants celebrates the ability to be strong even when you don’t want to be, to be calm when you may not have the answers, and to remain positive through the most difficult of times.
This fundraiser celebrates all the people who’ve had to put on their Big Girl Pants when they have faced difficult times, and this year aims to raise over £20,000 for the UHNM charity, specifically aiming to buy a piece of equipment to support those having treatment for breast cancer.
